Bradford University – School of Managementand is one of Europe’s leading and oldest university-based business schools, celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2013. It offers undergraduate, MSc, MBA, research and corporate education programmes in the UK and across our global campus in Europe, the Gulf region, China, India, Malaysia and Singapore.
It has been accredited by EQUIS since 2000 – the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. Its MBA programmes were amongst the first to receive accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA). The final element of our “Triple Crown” of accreditations came in 2012, when we received international AACSB accreditation of all our business programmes.
The School regularly appears in the annual Financial Times global business school rankings. We are currently ranked number one in the North of England and in the top 50 in Europe. And the latest (2012/13) QS Global Business School Ranking report shows that international employers rank Bradford among the world’s top 200 business schools that they want to recruit from.
The INNOLAB project will be realised within the Enterprise & Innovation Lab at Bradford University School of Management. This is an inter-disciplinary environment where researchers explore entrepreneurship and innovation within the institutional and organisational context in which they take place. Our researchers bring to the Lab a unique combination of expertise (coming from disciplines as diverse as economics, sociology, geography and fields of study including entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, technology management) and research skills (both quantitative and qualitative).
University’s work is focused around three research themes:
- Knowledge and Technology Transfer and Innovation
- Entrepreneurial Identities in Context
- Social Enterprise and Innovation
